After spending his school years at Kelvinside Academy and then studying at Glasgow Caledonian University John went on to work for Scott Oswald who were at the time, the largest independent firm in Scotland. John gained many years of experience here and progressed to Tax Specialist and Manager of the Glasgow Office dealing with clients who demanded the highest professional standards.

Born and brought up in Helensburgh but now living in the Bearsden and Milngavie area John has been in practice, initially in Paisley and then Glasgow City Centre since 1993. In 2003 he merged his practice with Clydebank firm Miller Colquhoun before leaving to set up JCWallace & Co in 2009 thus ensuring that he could continue to provide the highest level of expertise and service to clients at reasonable cost.

WHEN NOT AT WORK (which isn't often!)

“I love spending time with my family, a round or two of golf and very occasionally participating in my real passion, motorsport.”
